Guest guest Posted March 12, 2004 Report Share Posted March 12, 2004 I have been eating raw for the past week or so. mentally i feel great. physically, ive been feeling so bloated. i am eating raw fruits and veggies at the point, no fats (i read a few different places to cut out the fats from the diet and candida disappears) Why do I feel so bloated? (Will it go away? Is it detox?) Is this method effective at getting rid of candida? (I am also taking garlic, probiotics and caprilyc acid to aid in killin gthe candida) Someone, help! Thankyou!! Guest guest Posted March 13, 2004 Report Share Posted March 13, 2004 I don't know about candida but in terms of the bloat, it is probably all the fiber. That happened to me. My body wasn't used to it. I found drinking ginger tea is realy helpful. It aids in digestion, gas, bloat etc.. It should get better as your body gets used to all the fiber. Also, are you cutting out all fat? You need some fat in your diet to be healthy. I would make sure you are getting some. Anyway, Good Luck. And hang in there. I know it is painful right now. It mutates so can be stubborn to get rid of .There may be several issues here . Things you may want to be tested for . Things like parasites . Stool and vaginal cultures with a naturapath .Garlic is excellent as well as a good probiotic . But , this alone is not enough. Lifestyle must change.The Garden of Life system has worked for several I know as well . However , dietary retraints are paramount here . No peanuts or cachews due to their high mold content . No fermenting foods , no sugars even in fruit , use stevia powders and liquid . Stevita liquid is organic and great tasting . No vinegars in salad dressings , pickles , olives etc... Watch miso , rejuvelac . and all fermented saurkrauts too . They can harbor unfriendly bacteria . Seed cheeses only if eaten immediately with no time to ferment . No raw food deserts replace with nuts like almonds , pecans , walnuts or almond butter on celery . Sugars ferment and break down in the body the same as alcohol . Many peole are unaware of this . Not a good thing for your liver . Bloating and fermentation go hand in hand . So , follow the rules of good food combining and practice it . Colonics may be useful to rid your body of toxins . Drink enough water.to flush the toxins out .There are many good pates you can eat and large salads with olive oil and lemon juice and herbs as a dressing . Think spices like garlic , ginger and cayeene . Carrot and beet and apple juice is just too sweet for people with candida . Read all labels . Eat mono at times and simply if you can .Try green juice like cucumber or green powder drinks .Build and revitalize . Think Green , Think spicy not sweet . Think health ..
