Guest guest
A few days ago we sent out a notice to our newsletter readers announcing our fabulous event in September: http://www.vegsource.com/event/ We've had a great response thus far, and we really appreciate that! The update is that Michael Klaper MD has been added to the line-up. He will be speaking about his exciting and ongoing Vegan Health Study. Regarding our request for help: One issue which has been raised by several people is that of child care -- several of you have requested that we add this feature to the weekend. This is definitely something we can do, but that would be dependent on how many parents request this service. We personally know some wonderful professional child care workers, and we could hire them for the weekend, if enough people would need and want this. We certainly wouldn't want the lack of child care to be a determining factor in whether or not someone is able to attend. We could charge a nominal fee, which would be based on how many parents sign up. We're thinking that two sitters would probably be sufficient stationed in a large conference room near the speaking area; but again, that would depend on how many parents sign up for the program. The child care employees would stay at the hotel for the weekend, and be available Friday evening, Saturday day and evening, and half of Sunday. If you are one of the people who might want or need child care during the vegsource event weekend, please drop me an email saying so, as well as how many children, along with their ages. Food, snacks and activities would also be provided. Thank you for your assistance in this!
