Guest guest
Many years ago the vegan society was run by some 'new' people who changed the rules to allow honey consumption as 'ok' or 'up to the individual'. Subsequently these 'new' people were removed form the positions they were in by membership vote. As with most things the majority rule. Personally I believe it is 'near' impossible to be vegan in todays society because: manufacturers are not obliged to list all ingredients / restaurants don't know / and so on, however, there are certain things that when purchased in a pure form are pretty clearly not vegan.
