Guest guest
Hi Anne, sounds to me like you are still caught up in the protein myth. I, too, am vegan and I eat only fruits and vegies ... none of the four whites ... white sugar, white salt, white fat and white flour. Plus, I eat no grains whatsoever ... just fruit and vegies. I run 5 miles a day ... 10 miles on a good day. Where do I get my protein from ... the fruit and vegies .. of course. Where do you think grass eaters get their protein from? The grass ... of course. Most people ingest way too much protein and it only harms their bodies and organs. I don't even eat nuts and still get enough protein. Believe it or not ... the body needs sugar for fuel. I am not talking about refined sugars, but the sugar that is in fruits and vegetables. That is where your fuel and building materials, that the body needs, come from. Most, if not all soy products, are a processed food and really hard on the body. I avoid soy and any other beans ... again, too much protein. In Health ....
