Guest guest
Since the dawn of the consumer movement in the 1960s, perhaps the most important tool of consumer advocates has been the class action lawsuit. Today, the rules permitting class action lawsuits have come under attack by corporate lawyers and lobbyists. The U.S. House of Representatives soon will vote on a bill that would effectively revoke the class action rules in every state by sending class action cases to federal court. Any changes to the law that make it harder to file class actions make it easier to cheat consumers. Please help us to defeat this cynical attempt to aid corporations guised as class action " reform " . Your Members of Congress need to hear from you.
