Guest guest
Lesley I go there sometimes and on the Sunday lunchtime and have learnt quite a lot from the SDA, of the deceptive teachings of the vatican which has misled genuine god-seeking people, only talking about things the vatican wouldn't even deny themselves, or couldn't deny, I go to the London Vegan meetings as well I've miss a few lately but will be there this month, Sp,
Guest guest
I'm banned from LV, it's a long story to do with the family-unfriendliness of them as a group and my arguments on about it. I won't mention any names, but they have never made it easy for those vegans with young children to get involved in the group, for instance saying on their website that they would run a creche for meetings if asked well enough in advance and then not doing it, indeed not even answering emails requesting the creche well in advance. I don't think parents should be left out of the vegan scene, but this is what is happening with LV. It's great for vegans without young families though. Guest guest
Lesley I don't want to dig up old discussions, but LV (Country Life) did not welcome us when we went. We ended up sitting at a table by ourselves. There wasn't any food Peter liked, and the bread we had with our meal was mouldy. Needless to say, we haven't been since.
