Less need yes, but not no need. We can't be that simplistic since many diseases, eg genetic diseases like cystic fibrosis, are certainly not diet-related.

It's more than likely that, if people were vegan and lived the way we should, there would be no need for organ transplantations ,but obviously that doesn't answer the question of this debate, Giving a organ to a meat-eat in some way encourage them off meat-eating as it is said that organs carry some sort of memory of their previous owner!
