When John Robbins founded EarthSave, the organization

represented an idealistic vision. Vegetarianism

was destined to sprout roots in every community.

Environmental resources would be saved. So too

would animals. It did not take long for 8,000

members to join America's newest make-a-difference

foundation.

 

After that wonderful start, it's all been downhill.

EarthSave's founder turned his back on his own

organization, and did a " Doug Henning-like "

disappearing act. While the magic act is now back,

the cost for each lecture is $2500 plus first class

expenses to hear EarthSave's founder speak. Howard

Lyman, America's best known and best loved vegan

recently resigned as president of that sinking ship

called EarthSave, and today, less than 2000

card-carrying members separate EarthSave from the

abyss that it rapidly approaches.

 

It's time to save EarthSave, and you're going to

help me accomplish that task. We have new seeds to

plant, and new roots will grow to prevent further

erosion. This may very well become the most

successful grass-roots movement in America, with

your help.

 

The 2,000 current members can grow to 2,000

chapters, and that's just a start. Tens of

thousands of communities in America will one

day have EarthSave chapters, and that's the

way it should be!

a difference. Collectively, you represent every

I ask you to take a moment and to the

new EarthSaveUSA group.

 

You CANNOT post a message on NOTMILK.

However, you CAN say anything you want on the new

EarthSaveUSA list, so long as there is not hatred

in your heart, or destructive thoughts in your words.

 

I will moderate the list, and will be there only to

prevent negative posts. No name calling. Nobody will

be censored or thrown off the list, as is common

practice on other vegetarian bulletin boards. Anything

goes with the exception of hatred.

 

The goal is to build EarthSave chapters in every city

in America.

 

You can start an EarthSave chapter in your own

community. Start with your family. Invite another

family to a vegetarian dinner in your home. Once a

month, build your chapter, and invite speakers. It's

easy, and we will take this movement to new heights.

Potluck dinners are fun. Imagine gathering 100

vegetarians each month in your own neighborhood.
