** Inside Scoop: Saying No to GMO's!

One way to avoid GMOs is to buy organic. But buying Certified

Organic produce and products at your local supermarket can be

both expensive and limiting, especially when they don't carry

what you want or need.

Fortunately, options are available and they're closer to you

than you think!

Empower yourself!

Tap into Local Food Suppliers such as:

1) CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture)

2) Local Farmers Markets

** Weekly column

Every week, we post answers to questions we receive from

True Food Network activists. Have a question about genetically

engineered food, the biotech industry or sustainable agriculture,

drop us a line!

This Week's Question:

Has there been any evidence of GE genes

(especially Terminator/Traitor genes) migrating to non-GE

plants of the same or different species?

http://www.truefoodnow.org/speak_out/

Previous Questions:

I want to plant a garden this spring. How do I locate only

non-GE seeds/starter plants to plant in a small garden?

What about the fast food industry? ...are any fast food

restaurants " safer " than others?
