Guest guest
- Janey Say you wanted baked beans in a jacket potato for dinner. Its a *free* meal. Baked beans are also on the free list. As our friend Jo would say - Ah yes, but..... I did do the SW diet about 4 years ago, when it was easy as I was veggie and they have lots of free foods like tinned macaroni cheese. I would have a whole one with a huge baked potato, all totally free. But I am a dreadful glutton and you simply cannot eat as much as I did and lose weight. So I didn't. I didn't gain, either, but then I didn't when I went back to my normal eating pattern, either. Which, thinking about it, is fairly close to the SW diet anyway - lots of potatoes, pasta, rice, vegetables and fruit. Anyway, if you've found something that works then good for you. I hope so - the signs are good but time will tell. For me Slimming World was the key and from there I've gone on to a high raw diet. I'm 2 1/2 stone lighter than I was last May. An excellent rate of loss, very healthy but at the same time worthwhile. I'm sure you will be better for it. I had pretty much resigned myself to always being this weight, but now I'm very hopeful. Cheers. Cathy
Guest guest
Well, I was a glutton. Sometimes I'd be sat on my computer at 10pm and make something else to week, but week in week out, I lost weight. 2 1/2 stone of it! Good luck Cathy. Our bodies are all different, so I'm glad you've found something that suits you. Let us know how you get on! Best wishes.
