Guest guest
I've found that bread hardly ever has milk or egg in, only the expensive specialist kinds. I don't see a reason why american bread should be different. If it is, then it's craziness land, bread clearly doesn't require egg or milk to work. Depending on your food tastes and amount of money available, you could do a number of things. If you're not interested in food and you just want to stay alive, you can eat crazily inexpensive food. Oats, spaghetti, pasta, peanut butter, bread, jam (can't remember what it's called in america), syrup, fresh fruit, nuts, raisins and stuff, sugar, flour, some varieties of noodles (but be careful), breakfast cereal, beans, and ANIMAL BLOOD j/k are a few examples of stuff that's easy to get hold of that'll cost you next to nothing. However, if you want more interesting food...don't ask me ha! It might be worth checking online for a vegan store that would mail you food. I've done this with a uk based store of this kind, and I bought some nice stuff from there for christmas as a treat, I wouldn't normally eat like that, but you can definitely get whatever you want in that way. They even sold vegan chocolate brownies, and they were lush. At my uni, there's no one that's vegan either, but I mean, it doesn't really matter because I don't buy vegan specialist foods, i just eat very basic stuff. Perhaps it would be difficult if I were interested in food / meals.
