Guest guest Posted December 16, 2001 Report Share Posted December 16, 2001 I just found out today that Whoopi,the cat whom I called housemate and friend for many years had to be put to sleep on Monday She apparently had really bad kidney problems and was in bad shape..as of late,she had lost alot of weight,and was acting strange..yowling at times,often seemed like she was in pain.This was not like here. She remained a sweetheart and an affectionate friend to her last days. I will miss her and her unique ways..the way she laid with one paw crossed over the other...her fondness for potato chips and mustard...the conversation she would hold(if you imitated her meow,she would do it back to you,and would continue back and forth until you stopped)....*sigh*...this really put a damper on my day...she lived to be 14,I know she had a full life,and take comfort knowing she no longer feels any pain...but I do and will continue to miss her.
