Guest guest
I found this pie recipe on the website " Veganism For Meat Eaters " (www.veganmeat.com) it's run by this omni guy who is married to a vegan, pretty cute site. Anyways he has a recipe section that he taste-tests before posting, and here is the recipe for a pie that was totally AWESOME. ~~~ Ingredients 1 Graham cracker crust. 21oz Firm Silken Tofu 1 cup Melted Vegan Chocolate 1-2 ripe bananas 3/4 cup peanut butter 2 tbsp maple syrup (optional) In a food processor, blend the tofu, chocolate and peanut butter. Add the maple syrup if you would like but it's plenty rich without it. Line the pie crust with sliced ripe banana. Pour the tofu mixture into the crust. Chill for at least 2 hours. ~~~ I didn't use the maple syrup and it was very rich and sweet. I topped it with a lil hip whip, and my neighbor was amazed that it was totally animal free.
