I guess by now most readers of this list (if they didn’t already know it!)

have concluded that Icke is a total basket-case! Yeah, maybe it would be

laughable if Peter the Moderator wasn’t defending the “thinking” of this

nut! Peter denies that this crap is anti-Semitic because “it would only be

racist if he accused all Jewish people of being part of the conspiracy.” And

then he asks “what does this have to do with Jews?” “George Bush and Queen

Elizabeth are not Jewish - ergo, this is not anti-Semitism.”

 

Peter does not seem to know how anti-Semitic conspiracy “theory” usually

works. It does not claim that ALL Jewish people are part of a conspiracy but

that “Jewish Finance” is a powerful, hidden hand manipulating human affairs

with other “sinister” forces to subvert the natural order and take over the

world. Thus, in Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”, it is “Jewish Financiers” and “Jewish

Socialists” who plotted the Russian Revolution and stabbed the German Reich

in the back! In this paranoid mind-set, “international” is practically a

synonym for “Jewish”! It appeals to the psychology of the ignorant little

man with the biggest mouth on the block who “knows” what’s “really” going on

out there…

 

And in Icke’s fantastical world conspiracy of Satanic, child-sacrificing,

shapeshifting reptilian “Illuminati” is a chilling thread of anti-Semitism

drawn from the age-old Christian blood-libel. This is no joke. In Christian

demonology, Jews are supposedly the spawn of Satan (often represented in

“reptilian” form): the mediaeval cult of “Little Hugh of Lincoln” is one of

the earliest recorded instances of Jews accused of sacrificing Christian

children. The blood-libel was followed by the massacre of Jews. And anyone

who thinks all this nasty stuff is ancient history better think some more:

the blood-libel was a cornerstone of Nazi propaganda and the last massacre

of Jews in Poland was instigated with the blessing of the local Church

against survivors of Auschwitz shortly after World War Two when the murder

of a child was discovered and immediately blamed on Jews living in a nearby

hostel. The recent “paedophile” hysteria, fuelled with lurid tales of

“Satanic ritual abuse” of children, is fertile ground for poisonous fascist

propaganda!

I'm keeping quotes in.

As far as I noticed, Peter isn't defending Icke against accusations of

being a basket-case (are you, Peter?), only against anti-semitism.

Can you substantiate your implied claim that Mein Kampf, the seminal

regurgitation of Jewish conspiracy theories, blames only a minority of

Jews? Or just concede my perception (without actually reading the book,

granted) that he was after all of them.

 

The next few paragraphs boil down to Edith saying " David Icke isn't

saying what David Icke says, but what Edith says David Icke says " . It's

impossible to carry on a discussion when someone claims only they can

read the source documents accurately.
