Hi Kate

The best health food shops that I know of are the two Real Foods stores the best of which is in the east of the city at 37 Broughton Street EH1 0131 557 1911 and a smaller one in the west at 8 Broughham Street EH3 0131 228 1201. Back in the east again but further south is Nature's Gate at 83 Clerk Street EH8 0131 668 2067.

I used tolove cooking until I become a serious artist and now if its notmircowavable then it don't get eaten. Either way I've never found aproblem with being Vegan once I had sorted out what was ok to eat inthe local shops and then its a weekly shop to one of the very goodhealth food shop here. Unlike London most local shops here stock arange of at least three brands of savouries 50% of which are Vegan aswell as quick meals that are mostly Vegan but don't teste that good. Ican give you more detail but I'm not sure whether they are sold in othercities in Scotland but be assured that you have landed on the right sideof the border. Hi Kate

Welcome to Scotland. I've been here for around 6 years now

having previously lived in London. I live in Edinburgh which is a far

better place to a Vegan the most cities south of the border. I used to

love cooking until I become a serious artist and now if its not

mircowavable then it don't get eaten. Either way I've never found a

problem with being Vegan once I had sorted out what was ok to eat in
