Hi People

I thought I would mail you all and tell you about something

disgusting I saw yesterday. I was at a trade fair in Birmingham and

this company were selling something called ships cats. They look like

dead cats which have been stuffed (but they're not) and guess what

they are made out of real fur. They are imported from China and the

company told me that it was okay because they are made from rabbit (a

bi-product of the meat industry). I told them about the cruelty in

China and how animals are killed for meat whether they are rabbits,

cats, dogs etc. I told them it was incredibly cruel and the fur was

likely to be real cat. A lot of fur coming out of china is marked up

as rabbit when it is in fact cat. I told them it was cruel and

barbaric and was told " Thats your opinion " before the guy turned his

back on me and walked away. I told them that it wasn't an opinion but

fact. If you would like to complain about these disgusing ornaments

(which come complete with accessories) the person to write to is Mr

Lynn Lewis, Nauticalia, The Ferry Point, Shepperton-on-Thames,

Middlesex, TW17 9LQ. He is the managing director. Their leaflet makes

no mention of the fact that they are real fur and a lot of people

looking at them yesterday thought they were fake fur because they

couldn't believe people would be sick enough to use real fur. I also

strongly believe that the fur was real cat because you could not dye

rabbit fur to that level of detail of look like tabby and ginger cats

etc. Please write because the power of the pen is mighty. I have

complained about things before and they have been withdrawn.
