Guest guest Posted October 17, 2000 Report Share Posted October 17, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Italian Nonmeat Balls Recipe By :Everyday Tofu, Gary Landgrebe Serving Size : 30 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Everyday Tofu Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound soft tofu -- mashed well with a fork 2 eggs -- lightly beaten 1/2 cup fine fresh bread crumbs 2 teaspoons vegetarian beef-flavored bouillon 1/2 teaspoon onion salt 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon dehydrated onion flakes 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl. Form into 1-inch balls. Brown the balls in oil. Use with your favorite spaghetti sauce or place the balls in an oiled baking dish and cover them halfway with your favorite Italian-style tomato sauce. Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes.
