Michelle's broccoli

1 head of broccoli

1 to 2 tbsp peanut oil

1/2 tsp of brown mustard seed

1/4 cup raw peanuts-optional

1/2 tsp ground turmeric

1/2 to1 tsp ground coriander powder

1/2 to 1 tsp ground cumin

1/4 to 1 tsp red chili pepper(cayenne)

salt to taste

Chop 1 head of broccoli in small(1 inch pieces.)Take a frypan and add a tbsp

or two of peanut oil.Heat.When hot add 1/2 tsp of mustard seed.Cover and

cook until the mustard seeds begin to pop.Take off the stove a few seconds

and add the washed chopped broccoli. If desired you can add raw peanuts

before the broccoli and saute a short while before adding the broccoli. After

adding the broccoli add 1/2 tsp ground turmeric,1/2 to1 tsp ground coriander

powder , 1/2 to 1 tsp ground cumin and 1/4 to 1 tsp red chili

powder(cayenne pepper.)Mix well and cook until done.

I never do this exactly the same so these are approximate directions for the

spices.Use to your taste and salt to your taste.
