Miso soup

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3 cups water

1 small onion -- sliced

3 heaping tablespoons miso

1 cup cooked noodles

 

Bring water to a simmer and add onion. Cook until onion is tender. Remove a

small amount of the water and mix it with the miso to form a smooth paste. Add

the miso paste to the water and onions. Simmer 10 minutes.

 

Add cooked noodles and simmer gently - just to heat through. Add any grains or

vegetables you desire. Serve while it's hot.
