Brenda & All:

Chef Paul Prudhomme's Magic Seasonings line makes a chipotle pepper powder.

There is a whole line of various ground dried chiles (ancho, guajilla, pasilla,

chile de arbol, anaheim, and New Mexico). You can buy them individually or as a

set in a rack. I can find them in the Atlanta area in well-stocked

supermarkets,

gourmet stores, and a place called Harry's Farmers Market (for those in the

Atlanta area). Magic Seasonings has a website and does mail order too --

http://www.chefpaul.com/index.html

If you can't find chipotle powder, you can make it by taking dried chipotles

and putting them through a blender or food processor and processing into a

powder.

Hi Veg-buds,

I buy most of my spices, including ground chipolte pepper, from Penzeys in

Wisconsin. Go to www.penzeys.com or call (800) 741-7787.

Standard disclaimer applies, of course.
