Guest guest Posted October 5, 2000 Report Share Posted October 5, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu Spinach Pie Recipe By :Soyfood Recipes for the American Table - White Wave Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups chopped onions 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 pound White Wave soft tofu -- mashed or crumbled 1 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach -- thawed and drained OR 1 pound fresh spinach -- chopped 1 partially baked 9-inch pie shell 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 2 tablespoons dill seeds 1/4 cup feta (optional) -- crumbled Preheat the oven to 400F. Saute the onions in the olive oil over low heat until soft. Add the tofu and brown. Add the spinach and saute 2 more minutes. Combine with the rest of the ingredients, mix well, and pour into the pie shell. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden.
