Savory Tofu Spaghetti Balls

1 pound White Wave firm tofu -- mashed

1/2 cup wheat germ

1/4 cup chopped parsley

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional)

1 tablespoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon oregano

2 tablespoons olive oil

 

Preheat the oven to 350F.

 

Mix all the ingredients together, except the olive oil. Spread an 8 x 8-inch

pan with the oil. Form the mixture into sixteen 1 1/2-inch balls, and arrange

in the pan. Bake about 30 minutes, or until browned and set, turning carefully

every 10 minutes.

 

Yield:

" 16 1 1/2-inch balls "
