2 1/2 cups packed fresh basil leaves -- washed & dried

3 tablespoons pine nuts

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 garlic cloves -- crushed

teaspoon salt

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup + 2T grated Parmesan

 

Combine the basil, pine nuts, oil, garlic, salt, and water in a food processor

or blender; puree. Add the cheese and puree 30

seconds.

 

Per serving: 135 Calories, 10 g T Fat, 4 g Sat Fat, 14 mg Chol, 428 mg Sod, 2 g

T Carb, 0 g Fib, 9 g Prot, 275 mg Calc. POINTS: 4.
