Soy! - Jeanette Parsons Egan Serving Size : 2 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 8 oz package 5-grain Tempeh -- thawed if frozen 1 8 oz can tomato sauce 1/2 cup ketchup 2 tablespoons light brown sugar 1 cup finely chopped onion 1 cup finely chopped celery 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 1 garlic clove -- minced 1 teaspoon dry mustard dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste water, if needed Crumble tempeh into a medium saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer over low heat 20 minutes or until vegetables and tempeh are tender, add water if mixture becomed too thick.
