Guest guest Posted August 27, 2000 Report Share Posted August 27, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Chile Relleno Casserole Recipe By : Ortega Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :1:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup green chili pepper -- diced 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups milk 3 eggs 1 cup salsa Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle 3/4 cup cheese onto bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with chiles and remaining cheese. Place flour in medium bowl. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth. Stir in eggs; pour mixture over cheese. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
