Guest guest Posted August 25, 2000 Report Share Posted August 25, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Ice Cream Cake Recipe By : Friendly Foods Magazine Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cakes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Carob Cake -- see recipe 7 cups nondairy ice cream 1 cup hazelnut butter 1 1/2 cups Tofu Chocolate Ganache -- see recipe Freeze the Carob Cake. Then slice it in half horizontally. Line a cake pan with a large piece of plastic wrap. Place one layer of the cake inside the pan. Beat the ice cream and nut butter just until it is soft enough to spread. Spread it over the first layer of the cake. Add the second layer of cake on top and gently press to fill in the gaps between the layers. Freeze the cake completely. Heat the ganache icing to about 95°F. Pour over the frozen cake and spread the icing as necessary. Refreeze the cake.
