Guest guest Posted August 13, 2000 Report Share Posted August 13, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * A Really Good Sandwich Recipe By :Meredith Publishing Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:06 Categories : Mediterranean Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 green olive 1/4 cup parsley or cilantro or a combination of both 1/2 small tomato sliced 1 canned and rinsed artichoke heart (save the rest for another dish) 1/4 teaspoon garlic -- minced 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar 1 whole grain pistolette or sandwich bun olive oil sea salt and fresh pepper Cut bun in half, remove some of the center bread from the bun, toast the bun, brush with a little olive oil, set aside. Roughly chop the rest of the ingredients except for the tomatoes, S & P. Add the vinegar. Mix. Mound the filling on the bun, top with tomato slices, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
