Place the apple slices in the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon. Dissolve the arrowroot in cold apple juice in a small saucepan and warm over low heat, stirring until thickened. Add the maple syrup and stir for another minute. Pour over the apples. Put another layer of crust on top, pressing edges together. Bake in a 350F oven for 20 minutes.
