Guest guest Posted August 2, 2000 Report Share Posted August 2, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Baked Tomatoes with Garlic Recipe By :Eat More, Weight Less by Dean Ornish Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups fresh bread crumbs 1/2 bunch flat-leaf parsley -- stems discarded, leaves chopped 20 basil leaves -- chopped 3 garlic cloves -- chopped 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt -- (optional) 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 1 teaspoon sugar 8 tomatoes -- tops cut off, seeds & juice removed Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Mix the bread crumbs, parsley, basil, garlic, optional salt, pepper, and sugar. Stuff the tomatoes with this mixture.
