Their creamy richness pairs beautifully with roasted nuts like almonds. In this sweet, frothy shake, the beans add fiber, folic acid, protein, and thickness. The banana adds fiber, vitamins and minerals, while the toasted almonds add flavor and calcium. You will need about half a 15-ounce can of drained and rinsed beans for this recipe.
