Hi Jenn,

You can usually find them in any store carrying Middle-Eastern or Greek

foods. They show up in lots of supermarkets too.

A while back I posted a recipe I found on one of the Usenet groups which

substituted young chard leaves for grape leaves. The author grows her own

chard and believes it is even better than grape leaves in this kind of

dish. So if you can't find grape leaves, you might want to try chard. I'll be

glad to re-post the two I sent if you like.

Where to buy grape leaves.

--Any Greek or Middle Eastern grocery store will carry them in jars. Sometimes

you can by them by the pound, from barrels (actually plastic buckets now).

Also, a place like Passport Foods should have them.
