Chocolate Coating

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

 

In the top of a double boiler over hot and simmering (not boiling) water, melt

and stir chocolate with vegetable oil until satiny and smooth. Remove from heat

and dip fruits, draining excess back into pot. Place fruits on aluminum foil to

harden.

 

Note: This amount will dip 26 to 30 large strawberries two-thirds of the way up.
