Guest guest Posted July 27, 2000 Report Share Posted July 27, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Early Girl Sauce With Gorgonzola And Garlic Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Sauces Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 cloves garlic -- (3 to 6) 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 Dash crushed red pepper 2 pounds Early Girl tomatoes -- or your preferred variety 1/2 cup soft Gorgonzola or blue cheese -- (1/2 to 3/4) Salt to taste Mince garlic and saute in olive oil over low heat with dash of crushed red pepper. Don't let the garlic brown or burn, but cook it at least for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, chop Early Girls or other tomatoes, raise the heat and add to the pan. Cook for just a few minutes, until the tomatoes release their juices but haven't cooked down much. At this point, add soft Gorgonzola or other blue choose and stir into the sauce until it is completely blended.
