Guest guest Posted July 12, 2000 Report Share Posted July 12, 2000 If you use soy Parmesan it would be vegan- * Exported from MasterCook * Spiced Burger in Garlic and Lemon Sauce Recipe By :Oh Boy, I Can't Believe It's Soy! - Sanaa Abourezk Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Spiced Burger recipe 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 8 ounces canned mushroom buttons including the juice 2 cups frozen peas and carrots 8 cloves garlic -- mashed 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons olive oil salt to taste Add Parmesan cheese to the spiced burger recipe and mix well. Form into sixteen 2-inch balls. Flatten into mini burgers. Spray a cookie sheet with olive oil spray. Place the burgers on the greased sheet. Spray the burgers with olive oil spray and broil for 5 minutes on each side. Defrost the peas and carrots mixture. In a heavy pot, heat the olive oil. Add the mashed garlic and cook for a couple seconds. Add peas and carrots mixture, mushroom buttone with the juice, lemon juice, and salt. Cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add the burgers. Cover and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
