Here is another vegan recipe its for fake buttermilk biscuits each biscuit is

1.52 points, not bad I may try these soon:)

FAKE BUTTERMILK BISCUITS

Low-Fat Tofu And Soy Products

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/4 cup soy milk

2 tablespoons lemon juice

8 ounces tofu, firm -- silken

2 tablespoons white miso

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

 

Preheat oven to 450F & oil baking sheets. Combine soy milk & lemon juice & let

stand for 5 minutes. Blend tofu until smooth & then blend in the soy milk/lemon

juice mixture along with hte miso. Set aside. Sift together the dry

ingredients & fold into the blended mixture. Turn onto a lightly floured

surface & form into a ball. Roll out dough to a 1/2 " thickness. Cut with a

cookie cutter. Put on baking sheets & bake for 12 minutes or until golden.

 

Makes 18 biscuits.

NOTES : Per biscuit: 74.4 cal, 1.4g (16.9%) fat, 0.4g fibre, 162mg sodium, 11.9g

carbs, 3.8g protien
