Guest guest Posted July 10, 2000 Report Share Posted July 10, 2000 I have made a looseleaf notebook with copies of substitutes from numerous cookbooks. My newest thing is to xerox and categorize in the notebook every single recipe (that sounds good and isn't too high in fat) which I come across for pseudo cheese, sour cream, cream cheese... In this way, when a recuipe calls for dairy, I can visit my recipes and select the one that most closely matches the ingredients in the fridge.
