Hi everyone,

 

My name is Faith and I am relatively new to the group and to cooking, especially

veg!

Thank you all so much for the many wonderful recipes, I am looking forward to

trying

them all one by one (and I will).

 

I wanted to thank the person who submitted the Grilled Peach and Blue Cheese

Salad

w/ Faux Catalina Dressing. It was SO delicious! I must admit the idea of

making my

own dressing almost had me picking a different recipe for dinner. But it turned

out so

good, even my boyfriend loved it, and he is pretty picky. The rest of you who

haven't tried

it should really give it a try. All the pieces just fit together so well, the

dressing and the

Blue cheese were a perfect match and the peaches just pulled it all together.

 

I also tried the Black Bean burgers, they had a really good flavor but I think I

might have

done something wrong, because they were very sloppy. I felt like I should have

just

cooked them on the stove, in a pot, a bit and eaten them that way (not in burger

form)

because I was picking at them before the burgers were formed and it was very

good.

Sorry, I tried. But again, I am a brand new cook, so I do the best that I can

with the very

little knowledge that I have.

 

I hope that someday soon I will have unique recipes to share with all of you,

but for now

I will enjoy trying all of yours.
