Any recipes you can post would be appreciated. Susan * Exported from MasterCook * Orzo Primavera Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Low fat Pasta Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup orzo 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup peas, frozen -- thawed 1 small red bell pepper -- seeded and diced 1 Tablespoon dill -- chopped, fresh 1 Tablespoon lemon juice -- (1 to 2) 1 teaspoon olive oil salt & freshly ground black pepper Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Stir in orzo and salt and return to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally to keep the orzo from sticking, for 6-10 minutes, or till the grains are tender but firm . Drain and transfer to a serving bowl. Add peas, red pepper, dill, 1 Tb lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well, taste and adjust seasonings, adding more lemon juice, if desired. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
