1 medium banana -- sliced and frozen

6 strawberries -- frozen

2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate -- thawed

1 cup vanilla soy milk

 

2 servings—Dairy-free

 

Soy milk turns this fabulous classic into a creamy treat. Adding soy

powder boosts the protein to 23 grams.

 

In blender, combine banana, strawberries and orange juice concentrate. Add

soy milk and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve right away.

 

Per serving: 170 cal.; 5g prot.; 2g total fat (0 sat. fat); 36g carb.; 0

chol.; 45mg sod.; 3g fiber

 

High-protein variation: Follow the recipe, but increase soy milk to 1 1/2

cups and add 1 cup strawberry soy yogurt and 2 tablespoons soy protein powder.
