Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 large cloves garlic -- minced 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes salt & pepper to taste Heat the garlic with the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. When the garlic starts to sizzle, add the tomatoes. Simmer uncovered until the sauce is thick enough to mound on a spoon, about 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt & pepper.
