Barley & Mushrooms

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 cup onion -- chopped

4 tablespoons margarine*

1/2 cup pearled barley

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/2 pound mushrooms -- sliced

2 cups veggie stock*

 

In skillet saute onion in margarine until barely soft. Add barley and brown

lightely.

 

Place all ingredients in cooker.

 

Cook on low 4 to 5 hours.
