Black Bean Sauce

8 ounce package salted black beans (available in Asian

groceries)

2 cloves garlic -- minced

2 tablespoons finely chopped ginger

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

1 tablespoon brown rice syrup

1 cup water

 

Rinse the black beans. Puree them in a food processor with the remaining

ingredients.
