Slow Cooked Lentil Srew

2 cups lentils

5 cups V-8 juice

1 onion -- chopped

1 carrot -- sliced thin

2 stalks celery with tops -- sliced

1 16 ounce can of stewed tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic -- minced

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

 

Place all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook on High for 4 hours or on Low

for 8 hours.
