Potatoes

 

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 large baking potatoes -- (about 1 1/2 pounds)

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon dried whole thyme

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Vegetable cooking spray

 

Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender. Cool slightly; peel and shred.

Combine potatoes and next 4 ingredients.

 

Coat a 10-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until

hot. Pack potato mixture firmly into skillet; cook 6 to 7 minutes or until

bottom is browned.

 

Invert potato patty onto a plate; return to skillet, cooked side up. Cook over

medium heat 6 to 7 minutes or until bottom is browned. Cut into wedges to

serve. Yield: 4 servings (about 107 calories per serving).
