Guest guest Posted June 24, 2000 Report Share Posted June 24, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu-Fruit-Milkshake Recipe By : Diabetes Forecast Magazine, April 1999 Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Vegetarian Beverages Snacks Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 12 ounces tofu silken or soft 1 1/2 cups skim milk or soy milk 2 bananas -- sliced, fresh or frozen 1/2 cup strawberries or other fresh fruit, (can use loose packed frozen fruit with no added syrup) 1/2 cup peach slices -- canned, drained & -- juiced packed sweetener of choice -- optional Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Add ice cubes and blend a bit longer if the shake is too thick for your taste. Adjust sweetness if desired. Serve immediately. Per serving = Fruit exchange 1.5, Medium fat exchange 1.
