Chinese Green Bean Salad

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 tablespoon sesame seeds -- toasted

1 teaspoon chili pepper -- crushed

1/2 pound tofu, fresh or dried -- in small sticks

1 tablespoon sesame seed oil

1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

1 drop chili oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 pound green beans, in 2 inch pieces -- trimmed of ends

a little salt

 

Blanch green beans 3 minutes on high in slightly salted water. Place in ice

water to cool.

 

Mix green beans with tofu.

 

In a small bowl mix the rest of the ingredients. Toss everything together.
