Susan * Exported from MasterCook * Tofu Salad Recipe By :Meals.com Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 16 ounces tofu 1/2 cups carrot -- shredded 1/2 cups celery -- chopped 1/2 cups green onion -- chopped 1/2 cups walnuts -- chopped 1/3 cups lemon juice 2 tablespoons brown mustard 1 tablespoon basil 1 garlic clove -- crushed 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons vinegar 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce Drain tofu in a colander for 20 minutes; pat dry. Crumble into a serving bowl. Add shredded carrots, chopped celery, chopped green onions, and chopped walnuts. In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, prepared brown mustard, basil, crushed garlic clove, salt, vinegar, and liquid hot pepper sauce; mix well. Pour over the tofu mixture; mix gently. Chill for 4 hours before serving.
