Super Morning Shake

 

Recipe By : Cooking Light, July/August 1998, p.156

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk

2 tablespoons honey

8 ounces vanilla low-fat yogurt

8 ounces pineapple chunks in juice -- undrained

1/2 cup ice cubes

 

Combine first 4 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. With blender on,

add ice cubes, 1 at a time; process until smooth.

Serving size: 1 1/4 cups

 

 

 

Per serving = 256 calories, 1 gm fat, 7 mg cholesterol, 119 mg sodium, 54 gm

carbohydrate, 8 gm protein, 0 gm fiber

Exchanges: 1/2 skim milk, 1 fruit, 2 other carbohydrate
