Easy Apple Salad

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

6 cups red delicious apples -- unpeeled & cubed

1/2 cup raisins

1/3 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt

2 tablespoons honey

 

Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl; toss gently. Combine yogurt and honey in

a bowl; stir well. Add to apple mixture; toss gently

to coat. Cover and chill 1 hour. Yield: 8 servings (serving size: 3/4 cup).

 

 

 

Per serving = 135 calories, 3 gm fat, 1 mg cholesterol, 11 mg sodium, 26 gm

carbohydrate, 2 gm protein, 2 gm fiber

Exchanges: 1 1/2 fruit, 1/2 fat, 1/2 other carbohydrate
