Guest guest Posted June 12, 2000 Report Share Posted June 12, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Guacamole With Tomatoes, Cilantro And Jalapenos Recipe By :Bon Appetit, June 2000 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 ripe large avocados -- peeled, pitted 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped seeded plum tomatoes 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro 1 can diced mild green chilies (4 ounces each) -- drained 1 teaspoon finely chopped seeded jalapeno chilies -- or more Coarsely mash avocados in large bowl. Mix in onion, tomatoes, cilantro and canned chilies. Mix in jalapenos to taste. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to serving bowl. Can be prepared 4 hours ahead. Place plastic wrap directly onto surface of guacamole. Refrigerate.
